Our Story - Building Better Leaders and Transforming Businesses
The Good Managers Guide was born from a simple but powerful observation. Across industries, managers are often promoted into leadership roles without the support, mentorship or training that they need and the result is stress, poor decision-making and a ripple effect that impacts teams, culture and business outcomes.
We set out to change that..
Founded in London, England by Mark, a leader with global experience and a First-class Honours degree (GPA 3.95) in Business Management (Enterprise and Sustainable Innovation) and a deep passion for leadership development, The Good Managers Guide was born.
Having been immersed in a triple crown accredited environment at university, Mark shaped The Good Managers Guide learning syllabus around those high standards and the global experience he built up over 25 years. Not only did he earn is degree from the triple accredited Open University Business School, but he is also currently pursuing his master degree as an achievement scholar at the prestigious Durham University Business School, one of the world's most renowned triple accredited institutions.
The Good Manager’s Guide originally began as a platform to help managers become competent leaders, but it always had a bigger purpose: lowering barriers to high-quality leadership education for those who can’t afford hefty university tuition and for those who face learning challenges. As someone who’s neurodivergent and has tackled dyslexia himself, Mark believes everyone deserves access to these insights too.
The Good Manager’s Guide is passing forward the frameworks and theories that Mark himself has found invaluable. He now wishes to pass that knowledge on in his own vision and in his own unique way; that way it's accessible, it's authentic and also tailored to be inclusive for all kinds of learners and helping more people step into leadership roles confidently.

Mark is the heart and soul of The Good Managers Guide and the founder of Digital Paradigm, a leading digital consultancy and has been doing this training and consulting gig for over twenty years, helping folks from the basics all the way up to the big leagues. He’s been all over the map from Europe and Asia Pacific to the America's, you name it and he’s got a track record with Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies. He’s brought innovations to life that really drive new revenue, whilst working with some heavy hitters, including Microsoft's dedicated AI subsidiary Nuance and big names like F1.
